This block was designed by E.S. (Bud) Dunklau for the Lincoln Quilters' Guild Nebraska Block Contest in 1977. It was the prize winner and is now the official Nebraska quilt block. It has become very popular across the state and is included here with the permission of the Lincoln Quilters' Guild.
